LeadWell programs utilise the latest research into the science of wellbeing and resilience, coupled with high performance strategies from the world of elite sport to focus on improving the wellbeing, resilience and happiness of your staff and the performance and emotional connection of your team.

Aleda offers a range of LeadWell program options to suit your business’s individual needs, from half or full day masterclass workshops; 8-12 week programs through to our core annual programs that cover all your wellbeing and resilience building requirements. ACS is an eight-week deep dive into the coaching mentality. It synthesises advancements in the field while empowering coaches to build resilience to handle the intense pressures of their career through the support and mentorship of peers who simply ‘get it’.

The magic of ACS is the cross-sporting-code format of the group, which is handpicked so strictly only one team is represented from each code. This creates the unique trusting environment needed to fast-track collaboration and learning.  ACS members benefit from invaluable wisdom and insights from their peers. Facilitators survey the coaches’ players to gather authentic feedback that is used to customise each coach’s learning journey.

Coaches learn techniques to continue the practices of self-reflection and problem-solving for the rest of their lives. The benefits flow on to their players, their organisations and their loved ones. Conducted remotely via Microsoft Teams, the ACS fits into the schedules of sports’ busiest professionals. There are also opportunities for members to meet face to face, health guidelines allowing, including a conference planned for October 2021.

Why we started ACS

ACS was founded in 2020 by action-based learning trainer and lifelong sports fan Matt Wadewitz, who has observed more than 1000 educators and leaders, and has for the past five years been working closely with high-profile AFL coaches.

Matt saw that elite-level coaches were missing an opportunity to discuss the big issues in their jobs with others who ‘walk in their shoes’ in a mutually supportive, non-competitive environment.

With COVID-19 restrictions accelerating the shift to video conferencing, Matt recognised it was the perfect moment to launch ACS – an innovative way to deliver the evidence-based learning strategies he had long used and harness the collective brainpower of a group with decades of experience.

Programs Overview

LeadWell Individual ‘Wellbeing Development Plan’ (WDP)

A full year dive into wellbeing with your team, inspiring positive change through active learning and participation. Whilst enhancing team connection, workshops will include wellbeing concepts and strategies such as: Mindfulness, Breathing, Gratitude, Purpose and Meaning, Psychological Safety, Resilience, Social Belonging & Physical Wellbeing. Each participant is also provided with individual coaching to support their wellbeing journey to living well and flourishing at work.

LeadWell ‘Positive Wellbeing Team’ Program (PWT)

An extensive team-based program that generates a deep understanding of wellbeing and the associated habits required to live well and flourish at work. Whilst enhancing team connection, workshops will include wellbeing concepts and strategies such as: Mindfulness, Breathing, Gratitude, Purpose and Meaning, Psychological Safety, Resilience, Social Belonging & Physical Wellbeing. The PWT program can be facilitated over an 8-12 week period or across the year on a monthly basis depending on the business requirements.

LeadWell ‘Wellbeing Masterclass Series’ (WMS)

Individual or grouped workshops on wellbeing concepts and strategies include: Mindfulness, Breathing, Meditation, Gratitude, Purpose and Meaning, Psychological Safety, Resilience, Social Belonging, Physical Wellbeing & Financial Wellbeing.

LeadWell - Corporate ‘Meditation Program’

At Aleda we are active meditators and big believers that the regular practice of meditation is the greatest gift we can provide our mental wellbeing ! We enjoy inspiring people to take up meditation as a daily practice and experience the profound impact it has on our lives and the lives of those around us.

LeadWell - Education ‘ BEING TIME’ Meditation Program

‘BEING TIME’ is an on-site, job-embedded Meditation and Professional Learning Program designed for teachers to improve teacher and student wellbeing and increase learning outcomes.

My students are seeking out meditation after lunch breaks, independently collecting the items they need to meditate (a chair to sit on). They are being honest with themselves and me in the reflection as to the level of gratification within each meditation and they are using their persistence and resilience to come up with strategies for next time.
